As some of you may know, Confetti is brought to you by AARP. Surprising, huh? We know – but AARP does more than you might think. The team behind Confetti is part of AARP Innovation Labs, where we come up with new ideas to improve different parts of life. Our products are geared toward people of all ages, and Confetti is one of our first.
Here at AARP Innovation Labs, we believe life is all about connection – and Confetti celebrates uniting families and friends through shared experiences that become priceless, lifelong memories. Confetti was born from a simple human need: to stay connected with those who matter most as we go through life.
We’ve all been on the receiving end of an e-mail begging for images, whether for a retirement slideshow or a wedding photo album. While the process behind creating the final product has been streamlined, collecting the raw materials can still be quite exasperating.
In steps Confetti, which puts the pieces together by allowing you to invite friends and family to contribute, easily. Our simple interface lets as many users as you’d like upload photos from a variety of sources — including Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive and Dropbox — which you can then view and edit.
So, how exactly does Confetti work? It’s easy:
- Create: Set up your project for the person you’re celebrating by giving it a title and cover photo
- Invite: Invite friends and family to contribute photos and messages into the Confetti platform
- Give: Confetti automatically creates a beautiful photo book and digital slideshow of memories to share. That’s it!
